The Backgrounder

Evan (part-owner) took his first year of Law at the University of Manitoba and lived with Shelby's relatives. While attending University Evan would haul junk with Shelby's Uncle Harv who owned a company called 'Guy With A Truck'. Uncle Harv loaned Evan a truck to use USWAT's first summer in Saskatoon and suggested the name, 'University Student With A Truck'. Evan joined forces with his future wife Shelby to get USWAT going in Saskatoon. The business grew fast with only a classfied ad in the newspaper. But Evan and Shelby had to learn many lessons the hard way to create what you see today.

In 2010 Evan moved on into a career in law and sold USWAT to Brendan Garritty. Brendan was born and raised in Saskatoon and currently attends the University of Saskatchewan where he is currently studying for a career in urban planning.
